2006 News Service of the Year:
Citizens for Legitimate Government

Shortly after the 2000 election, America was barraged with phony news stories encouraging the voters to get behind George W. Bush. The truth about the theft of the election was kept from the people of the United States. Two brave individuals, Lori Price and Michael Rectenwald (a professor at Carnegie Mellon) put together a news service, Citizens for Legitimate Government to allow the public to get real news instead of the Republican media hype.

Citizens for Legitimate Government distributes news information from legitimate sources all over the world. It has helped keep the public informed of the wrongdoings of the Bush Administration that the public would have been otherwise unaware of. It is first and fastest with its dissemination of accurate information and news alerts. CLG has woken up the American public as to Bush’s misdeeds and deserves a lot of credit for the November 7^th, 2006 election results.
